The Clear Creek Monastery is located east of Tulsa in Hulbert, Oklahoma. Set in the beauty of the Ozark Mountain foothills, the monastery consists of a church and a cloistered residence. The architecture is reminiscent of Cistercian monastic structures, masonry being a prominent feature. The church has 60 foot ceilings with a 120 foot steeple and a basement. The cloistered residence is a four-story structure with a basement. The architect, Thomas Gordon Smith designed the 65,000 square foot structure to last 1,000 years.
