OCURA OKed for developer Grant Humphreys to start on this in July of 2005. This 87,000 sq. ft., at 4th Street and the I 235 Service Road in the historic Maywood neighborhood (north of Deep Deuce), will consist of 18 townhomes and 12 elevated lofts. Dwellings range from 1,050 to 2,700 square feet, and will sell for an average $300,000. About 1/3 of the project will be green space, featuring a pavillion and free WiFi.

The feel intended with this project is hip and urban, and one thing that Grant Humphreys, who is the son of former mayor Kirk Humphreys, stresses is the need to develop downtown into a 24-hour community. He hopes this project, which will be the first finished in the area, does the trick.

Wow I need to go check out the site if they're putting framework up... All of these projects will open at about the same time, and I can't wait to see how the change in the downtown environment is with the sudden addition of hundreds of new units.
