Manhattan Construction Company has had a long standing relationship with Cascia Hall Preparatory School. The tradition continues today with Manhattan’s recent partnership in building the newest addition to the Cascia Hall campus, a Performing Arts Center.

The new structure plays host to a 700-seat, 24,000 square-foot bi-level auditorium and 10,000 square-feet of new classroom space. Because of the new structure’s adjacency to the basketball and football facilities, old locker rooms and dressing areas had to be demolished to make room for the building. The complex will be outfitted with new men’s and ladies locker rooms and will connect to the existing Upper School Gym. The exterior will relate well to the French Norman style of the rest of the buildings on campus. Clinker style brink, one of the most notable characteristics of Cascia Hall’s architectural elements, will form the façade of the new auditorium and 30 feet high bronze colored windows will line the lobby area and entryway. There will be a grand plaza entrance with the St. Rita of Cascia statue as the welcoming centerpiece.
