Devon has recently bought 13 acres on Oklahoma 152, the freeway known as Airport Road, at Meridian Avenue near Rogers World Airport. They intend to start construction on a new office building that will serve as an auxiliary location to their downtown headquarters (numerous buildings).
They also were quoted in the Daily Oklahoman saying they have no interest in moving into ONE, big, occupant-owned building in downtown. But one thing's for sure, is that the building Kerr McGee is leaving behind is nowhere near big enough, and that Class B space is a hot commodity anyway.
