But for now Film Exchange seems to be a little off of the beaten path for downtown tourism... A trolley stop would help once they get moving on really cleaning up this area and getting some businesses and attractions started.

Isn't the Arts District down there? It's just a stone's throw away from the art museum and the civic center.

Seems like it would be a couple blocks through sketchy territory to the heart of Film Exchange? Maybe my internal map is messed up.

Edit: Hey welcome to the forum, Some Guy. Thanks for that link, I knew there was a page but I couldn't find it. Kept thining it was just http://filmrow.com, you see. okmetropolis/good.gif

No, Shane, it is a short walk, I'll give you that, and it is a sketchy walk... for now. But that district can be cleaned up, and it can become really neat. Imagine something like Bricktown anchored not by a canal, but by a walk of fame, some streetscapes, the Civic Center Music Hall, and the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. It could be like a socialite version of Bricktown... with new restaurants like Trattoria il Centro that area is already well on its way.

But still, regardless of distance, it would be good to have a trolley stop in the heart of Film Exchange when these projects come to fruition.

Thanks for the wesbite Someguy. And welcome.

That would be a pretty well-used stop, already, assuming that it goes somewhere that's also a well-used stop. There's about 75 units (super pricey units that is) in the Montgomery, 303 in Legacy Central, and now a handful in Film Row. The western end of downtown is development very nicely now.

As an aside, I just realized how many people will live in the Legacy project. I'm thinking at least 500 people will move in... And that's just a fraction of the total units under construction downtown... Things are definitely shaping up.
