Apparently, the Californians who purchased First National Center in May for $21 million have been making trips twice a week to Oklahoma City to develop their long-term plan for the buildings. They say they will do everything they said; and they know that we are suspicious because previous owners failed to deliver on their promises- But Milbank Real Estate, the new owner group, says they have a policy to never make promises they aren't prepared to keep.
In Los Angeles, the group purchased a 15 story building and spent over $100 million renovating it for office use. The building is now being re-renovated for condos.
The full plans will be revealed first in a meeting with city leaders on Tuesday, then the public will have access to them. I expect to see information in the Oklahoman on Wednesday.
I would be surprised not to see any residential in this project.

You beat me to the punch. It's shocking everytime you hear about how horrible and corrupt the previous property owner was. And you've gotta love anytime a developer avoids the spotlight and tries to just do his job. Like Kanbar, Banta, etc, etc...

I do love developers that stay away from the spotlight... they're always the best, because you know they're not just doing it so they can be the star of the evening news.

I watched the TV media today and didn't see anything about FNC... They did cover the EMSA topic from today's council meeting though.. Hopefully they did cover FNC and we'll hear about it tomorrow in the Oklahoman. Sometimes News9 relies on The Oklahoman to break stories and then they just regurgitate it on TV, which is really silly for a TV Media source.
