When KoL hacked our old forum, one thing was clear: We were not safe, and we could easily be picked off again. I put in some extra measures, but that doesn't mean KoL can't destroy our forum before I can regain control.

As well, we've always wanted to run the best forum in the state of Oklahoma, but lacked the time and know-how to get that up. How can a Forumer-hosted forum be something our members would treasure?

We now have the perfect forum developed, that we've been working on for a while. We regretted logging on and posting on a site we knew we were closing for good, but we wanted the reaction to be one of pleasant surprise and shock.

The new url is http://okmet.org. We hope it's everything you've wanted and more. See you there!

Spartan, maybe you said this somewhere else (I haven't looked) ... but ...

1) When should external links (like in my blog to OkMetropolis) be changed ... now ... later?

2) Is existing content here going to be transferred to the new site (please say, "yes")

3) In the interim, where should "new" lengthy/graphics laden posts be made, here or there?

Please do everything over there. I will not close these boards so people can simply copy and paste their old posts. The reason for the move is the reason we can't transfer posts: Forumer sucks.

We are ending our relationship with hacker-friendly Forumer and offering a much better forum at the same time. This one's for good, so any updates you make, which I know have been many (again, I apoligize for getting tired of Forumer and for the hacking) would be final of course.
