This is not a vs. Thread but rather a comparison of Oklahoma's two largest Cites and how COSMOPOLITAN They Are!
shane- 09-14-2006
Of course they're both real cities.
Spartan65- 09-14-2006
No illusion here. I'm a real person, too.
RAGE- 09-14-2006
Both cities are real cities... Different but both real...
Tulsa a little better
bombermwc- 09-14-2006
Uh, no Rage.
shane- 09-14-2006
Haha, you're a true Tulsan, Rage...
Spartan65- 09-14-2006
Not a real city? Nah! OKC is more like a po-dunk town, huh!
shane- 09-14-2006
^^ That's a pretty sweet picture.
bombermwc- 09-15-2006
So a photo on a construction site makes OKC dirty huh....hmmm I see your logic....so Tulsa must be a pit of hell then with that hole they dug for the BOK center..hahaha
Spartan65- 09-15-2006
What are you talking about? That gritty pic I posted? I totally dig that pic I posted...

Oklahoma City is cosmopolitan, it's extremely diverse, and it's really a pretty open environment. But it's not hoitey-toitey like Tulsa is.

The saying goes, "Tulsa is like a mercedes coupe and OKC is like an old dodge pick-up with a shotgun rack in the rear"
Spartan65- 09-15-2006
Well maybe Tulsa's Mercedes got repossessed and OKC traded the truck for a BMW, but Tulsa's credit is improving and they may trade back up to their Mercedes.
How's that for a long metaphor?

But Tulsa dosen't want the Mercedes, they want a Ferrai...
Dirty Tulsa
Reminds me of the Wild West with the Sun going down like that...
Spartan65- 09-16-2006
I wish they had bothered to get the rest of the skyline in that photo.
bombermwc- 09-17-2006
Well that must be a TU/OU games because I can't think of any time other than that when rust bucket Skelley stadium ever had that many people in it. Yeah i think everyone in Tulsa would be gagging if they had to breathe that crappy air in that picture....yuk. I read something not to terribly long about OKC having the most clean air days of any major city in the US. Breathe easy OKC!
