I'm curious when the proposals will be announced for land across from OSU-Tulsa. That will be the next big announcement for Tulsa.
This is land that TDA took proposals for at the same time as the land on Denver. It's a much larger parcel than the Westin site, so it will probably be some sort of mixed-use village.

Didn't they extend the deadline to sometime in October, since the Greenwood Chamber's proposal (which was the only one I believe) was submitted a few minutes late?

I didn't catch that. It seems odd they're on their way to accepting a bid requiring them to designate a hotel the official downtown hotel, spend millions on a new bus stop, and demolish empty surrounding buildings, and then when the Greenwood Chamber, a non-profit organization that does not specialize in putting on development projects, make a bid, the TDA ignores them and looks for something else. Nevermind that the other bid is the most valuable land in all of downtown...

Okay, I finally found the article I read about the Chamber turning in their proposal late and the deadline being extended to Oct. 3rd.
It would include 53,000 square feet of office and retail space, with the potential to add 26,000 more; 44 brownstone residences; and an 82-room hotel.
The hotel would be a great addition... There is no hotel on that side of Downtown I believe...

I think the 44 brownstones sound great.

There was a seperate news story I remember posting (I vaguely remember a lot of posts which is strange) about someone wanting to remodel an old building into a boutique hotel with about a hundred rooms in Greenwood.

44 brownstones residence
What type of housing would that be? Something like a townhome...

Yea.
