Here is a map reflecting my vision for a National High Speed Rail (HSR, in Pink) and Magnetic Levitation Train (Mag-Lev in Green) system, that I want to see built by 2030. As a HSR Line and a Mag-Lev Line would both go threw Oklahoma. What do you guys and gals think of this design:
NOTE: Notice, all lower 48 States are reached by this system, as well as Canada's 5 largest cities!

Interesting plan. It would certainly be convenient and fun to have better rail service in the US.
Though, the idea of Tulsa as a hub over Oklahoma City is questionable, and debatable. The Interstate System didn't like the idea.

But Tulsa isn't located so far out in the middle of nowhere such as OKC. I might suggest connecting Norlans and Chicago through Memphis. Lovely town...

Unfortunately it will never get the support that it should due to the airline industry. They killed the one proposed here in Texas 15 years ago and they have even more political power since the gov't is no longer trying to hide the fact that legislation goes to the highest bidder.

I think rail would be a lot safer than plane travel anyway. Easier to make secure.
