An interesting link that shows all of the parking in downtown, breaks it down by location etc. 20,277 parking spaces not including curbside. I guess we still need more, but I was suprised by the number.

I'm not a big fan of the place myself, but I do like to take in a ball game and some friends will meet up at The Mantle from time to time for dinner or a drink. I like Paseo better for hanging out and there are lots of restaurants that top anything in Bricktown, IMO. I do enjoy the canal for a morning jog, but it's pretty quiet the time of day I'm down there and obviously no need to park either.

I think Bricktown has gotten very watered-down in order for the regular joe to like it, but I think it's getting more and more interesting all the time. The folks that go down there to get drunk or do something touristy have watered it down, but we appreciate their using of our downtown none the less! smile.gif

But development can and will get denser if there is more parking in Bricktown, and if that solution is one that's easy for folks.
