Shopping center planned at 101st and Mingo By Bloomberg, AP and Staff Reports 9/1/2006
An upscale shopping center is under development at 101st Street and Mingo Road.
Plaza del Sol, which will contain 59,400 square feet and cost a projected $7 million, will target upper-end retailers and food stores, similar to the tenants at Utica Square, said developer Doug Collins.
The project's name comes from its California Mission architecture.
Plaza del Sol is expected to open next summer.
Blue Heron Development Co., a Collins & Associates affiliate, will develop the center, while Walman Commercial Real Estate Services will be the leasing agent.
