This is the development that's engulfed the Taco Mayo (the building on the far right in the rendering). It's surrounded it on the other side too... looks a little odd to say the least. West of the Taco Mayo (not shown) is a brand-new On The Border and in the shopping center, the big tenant is Short Small's (a really good rib place). There's also going to be another CityBites (the funny thing is that there's a CityBites in the strip mall on the NW corner of I 240 and Western and another at Penn). There's a Casablanca's, a Chuck E. Cheese's, a Full Service Salon & Spa, Primo's, and Jimmy's Egg... going down the list of tenants.
There used to be an abandoned shopping center here with Mexican tiles, but it was knocked down, and in it's place is probably going to be an L-shaped shopping center, as they've cleared more land behind the previous structure. I like how there's a lot of wide-open land on Walker to build stuff like this. There's a lot of sprawling office complexes along Walker between I 240 and it's end at 104th.
There's about 40,000 sf.

There's another development at 240 and Penn with a bunch of big-box retailers like Old Navy, Michael's... I think there was a Marshall's, and a whole bunch of other retailers. Do you know what their building in the parking lot surrounded by the fence?
