I'll give you a hint. It's "uptown look with an old worlde charm."
Actually Fred Jones building is one of the better ones.

Ding-ding-ding! Whada we have for 'em, Johnny? How about a nice postcard!

Deep Duece reminds me of Frontier City, a bunch of false fronts in front of the same old crap.

I think Deep Deuce looks ok from certain angles. It's certainly not nearly the biggest eyesore I've ever seen. I wonder if those stucco walls could ever be bricked in? They have to be making a KILLING with the rents being charged in there... Would be nice to see them chip a chunk of that back into the buildings at some point.

Sorry Spartan, wrong building. What you have is a picture of Villa Dowell. Like I said, the guy isn't shy about spending money to do what he does. That's an expensive building. I know that a lot of people will say: "what a great looking new building, how can anyone bitch about any new building in downtown OKC?" For the same money, and with a good architect he could have built a much nicer building in a similar style if that is what he had to have. Just my opinion.
The former Lincoln Mercury dealership is just acrross the street on the next corner. Complete with it's stuck on Spanish Revival balustrade or what ever the out of place decrotive railing is supposed to be that he parked on top of the building.

Are you talking about the Art-Decoish facade at the corner?

wsucougz has the correct address, 501 N. Walker but the photo on the link provided is of the west facade which faces a nicely landscaped parking lot. Not bad looking, actually OK. Dowell is to be congratulated on going way beyond the minimum landscaping requirement on his projects. I'm not sure about his presistient use of pine trees, but he installs lots of green. The architectural train wreck is the SE corner of the 501 N. Walker building.
