Ruby Tuesday to open five restaurants in Tulsa area
A longtime restaurant chain known for its ribs, burgers and salad bar will make its Oklahoma debut early next year with the first of five Tulsa area locations.
A Ruby Tuesday restaurant is expected to open in Tulsa in January, the first franchise venture in the state for Maryville, Tenn.-based Ruby Tuesday Inc.
RT's of Oklahoma, operating under management company Treadwell Enterprises of Springfield, Mo., has acquired the development rights to open the five restaurants during a four-year period.
Malissa Hauswirth, operating partner at RT's of Oklahoma, said since paperwork on the first restaurant site here isn't complete, Hauswirth wasn't able to say exactly where it will be.
"It will be along Interstate 44," she said. "It's a good location."
RT's is also targeting Broken Arrow, Owasso and Bixby.
