The new 104-bed Children’s Hospital will be located on the north side of the existing hospital. It will provide greater medical/surgical capabilities, pediatric intensive care services as well as outpatient and inpatient infusion therapies for children.

Current Status.

171,000 square feet, six-story (with the potential of a 2-story, 54,000 square foot future addition) facility which will include additional space for medical and surgical procedures and pediatric intensive care services. The 104-bed hospital has been designed with children’s families in mind. Pediatric rooms will be larger and have more space for families to stay overnight, access to showers, coffee makers, refrigerators and microwaves.

In addition, a new three-story parking garage and entrance for this new addition.
