I say Sonics but I don't feel like writing ten paragraphs on why like I've done, so I will just not and you all can retain your consciousness this time. Consider yourselves let off the hook easy this time...

I say Sonics because we know they would be ours. The Hornets have been nice visitorors, but that's all they are. They won't be staying, and I'd rather back a group that would be here for good.

It's not as if Shinn wouldn't love to have the Sonics stay in Seattle so he can work something out in OKC once his operations in Norlans fail the first year, but honestly, George Spinn and Norlans deserve each other. It's too bad that so many Louisianan citizens have to get caught up in such crossfire.

I voted for the Sonics ... though my heart ("child side" in a transactional analysis perspective) is with the Hornets team members and coaches that I've come to love. But, my "adult" component, which won the internal debate, goes with a locally owened team. Like 'em or not, the nature of NBA is that very few "team members" have much longevity. And, as I'm not a fan of George Shinn, and regardless of who the Sonics team members might come to be, I went with local ownership.

So far that option's carried the contest. 5/0 100%.
