Brick is pretty cheap in Oklahoma since most of the soil is clay, that is why more of it is used than in the midwest. They just have to dig it up and fire it, that is why there are so many brick pits around. Shipping is cheaper since it is local.

There are also municipalites like most OKC suburbs that regulate X% of a home must be brick. Norman and Edmond don't, but I think Moore, Mustang, and Midwest City are ones that do... heh, all three Ms.

Urban--- Yeah building up... I would much rather see that also...
The houses they are building are mixed-- From Stucco to brick and stone... The houses in the area are nice... The new Neighborhood has a retain pond and there is 25 house lots built around it... Very weird design... There is a street that runs trough the neighborhood but the houses are on the other side of the fence and gated entrances to the neighborhoods themselves...

Well the stucco homes actually look a lot more immaculate in my opinion that cookie-cutter brick abodes.

Most of the area is zoned Coridor Zoned (CO) which allows for a wide array of development options, but is ideally suited for an office park with emphisis on medical...

The nearest park I can think of is off of the Creek Turnpike just west of 169. There probably should be a park around 81st. But LaFortune is also nearby...

There is a park at 91st and Sheridan-- Hunter Park (creek turnpike you can see it) There is a park at 91st and Garnett-- Jackson Park And City of Tulsa is building a park behind Cancer Treatment Center and they are currently working on it... They are going to connect the Creek trails to it, and the Creek Trails takes you to Riverside... That’s a good workout...
All the trees are cleared except behind the Cancer Treatment Center...
Forest Creek-- Just saw the sign today for a new Neighborhood... 81st and Garnett, behind the 10,000 sqft shopping center...
