The tax base would have actually prospered in the long run, by far, if it went with Alta Bricktown or Walnut Street instead. They were bigger developments, and would have produced more tax revenue in the long run.
But for me it doesn't come down to the political and taxation situation, as well for the rest of the OKCers. We just want to see the best use and development of our city's signature districts.

I thought the only gates were at the alleys that access the individual garages which are located at the rear of the houses. Are you saying that the entrances to the development , which are public streets, are also gated?
